The same PDF editor as on the Mac, on your PC: the same engine reading and writing the file, the same five sections at the top, the same menus and palettes. A document starts on one computer and finishes on the other. Download, unzip and run — nothing to install, and no in-app purchases.
Open a PDF and mark it up, edit the real text and the real page objects, fill in and sign forms, organise the pages, redact, OCR a scan, and hand it on.
A handful of things macOS does for the Mac app, Windows does differently or not at all. None of them is hidden: where a command cannot run here it stays in its menu, greyed, with the reason in its tooltip.
The menu bar is the Mac’s, item for item. A command this build cannot run yet sits in its place, greyed, so you can always see the shape of the whole application — and so can we.
Closed in the last pass, and now live: the zoom percentage at the bottom is an editable field with its ten presets and Fit On Screen; the page number beside it is editable too; clicking the signature badge opens the verdict on each signature; Layout › Go to Page… asks for a page number and refuses one outside the document instead of silently clamping it; and Place Image… and Add Stamp in the top bar are wired.
And the things the Mac app deliberately does not do, this one does not do either, for the same reasons: no password protection or encryption, no adding or deleting pages (reorder, rotate, duplicate, extract and merge, yes), no reshaping page objects point by point, no gradients or patterns on page objects, no re-flowing of printed text, and no SVG export.
Version 26.5.2, build 1. Everything below is in the download.
The Store copy of Pdf Editor Pro is on its way — the same application, installed and updated by the Store, with no zip to unpack. Until it is there, the download on this page is the way to get it, and it updates itself. Progress lands on Discord and in the changelog.
Pdf Editor Pro 26.5.2 for Windows (x64 and ARM64). Unzip it anywhere and run pdfeditor.exe: no installer, no runtime to add, no in-app purchases.
