Vector Designer 26.22 for Windows is on the Windows page and reaches installed copies through the in-app updater. It is about working with more than one document open.
The palettes stay
With two document windows open, closing one of them could take every palette with it. The palettes now pass to the window that remains before the closing window goes away, and a palette that was lost comes back from the Window menu.
Switching windows is immediate
Bringing a window to the front used to redraw its document from scratch, which on some machines took seconds. The document is now kept as it was and only the frame around it is refreshed, in a few hundredths of a second. The menu bar of a window in the background answers as soon as the window comes forward.
Closing and creating without surprises
File › New and closing a window while a sheet is open no longer end the session, and the About card closes with Esc. Every one of these was reproduced and re-verified on the real application, with real clicks.
