• Five top modes: Edit, Annotate, Fill & Sign, Export, Zoom
• Edit mode: rewrite printed text, resize and recolour it, move and resize page objects, place images, add links
• Annotate: highlight, underline, strikeout, pencil and smoothed pen, rectangles, ellipses, lines, text boxes, notes, stamps, signatures (draw or photo), sound notes
• Pages: add, insert from another file, duplicate, move, delete, rotate, extract, crop, merge; Organize Pages thumbnail grid; bookmarks
• Numbering and marks: page numbers, Bates numbering, headers, footers, watermarks (add and remove)
• Forms and signing: fields highlighted under the pointer, Tab follows field order, saved signature library
• Redaction and OCR: real redaction removes hidden text; OCR makes scanned pages searchable (pages with text are skipped)
• Colour and print: RGB, CMYK and spot inks with tints, Separations palette with per-plate preview
• Export: PDF, compressed PDF (with compression preview), PNG, JPEG, TIFF, DOCX; open PDF, DOCX, PNG, JPEG, TIFF, SVG
• Welcome window with three sample documents, recent files and quick tasks (Merge, Manage Pages, Page Numbers, Compress, Crop)
• AI Console (built-in engine or own Claude / OpenAI / Gemini key) and built-in MCP server (STDIO and HTTP)
• Requires macOS 14.6 or later; also available for iPad and iPhone (universal purchase)
