Getting the document out (Export)
- Export PDF…
- Export with Compression… — pick a preset with real numbers, see the size of the file that would be written, and compare a before/after preview of any page with the measured difference — all before anything is saved. Your ordinary Save is never compressed behind your back.
- Export PNG…, Export JPEG…, Export TIFF… — one image per page.
- Export Word (.docx)…
- Share… — the standard macOS share sheet.
- Page Setup… and Print….
The export options note that placed signatures, initials and signer profiles are flattened into the page — always, and not as a choice: in this app they become page content the moment you place them, so every export carries them as artwork and no PDF viewer can lose them. Exporting never changes the document you have open.
